• Workshops by the author and poet Terry Caffrey who worked with learners in Years 7 and 8.
• Art Heroes-Graphic novel workshop where learners in years 7, 8 and 9 looked at the creation of comics and characterisation.
• We had ‘The Big Read’ to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 7th March and the English department dressed up as characters from Alice in Wonderland.
• We also ran a book review competition where prizes are still available for all those who enter!
